Why do I need a StarCard?

StarCard helps to reduce your operating costs while managing your fleet of vehicles with better security, protection and added convenience.

With a StarCard Credit plan, drivers no longer need to pay cash upfront at the station, and able to get up to 30 days credit term. It suits all business organizations which look for fuel fleet card.

How many cards can I apply for my company?

As many cards as you wish.

What is the security feature of StarCard?

Feel in control of your expenses with StarCard's advanced security features that allow you to set transaction limits on your card or any designated vehicles, specify the product(s) to purchase, and where to fuel up. Above all, you can also monitor your usage via our StarCard Online Mobile App

Is it mandatory to link the StarCard with specific driver?

The choice is yours. You can link up the StarCard to a driver or the vehicle.

Do I need to pay any fees to get a StarCard?

Applying online for a StarCard is absolutely FREE!

Is StarCard a physical card or virtual card in App?

You will receive a physical StarCard card after your application is approved. To complete a transaction at a Caltex station, all you need to do is to present your physical card to the station cashier.

Where can I fuel up?

Whereever you find a Caltex Station, you can fuel up. Find your nearest station here.

How long is the StarCard online application process?

Get your documents in scanned copies ready, and complete the online application in just 15 minutes!

What are the documents I should get ready?

Basic documents include scanned copies of last 3 months’ bank statement and or/latest audited financial statements

How do I sign on the online application form?

You do not have to sign anything to submit this StarCard online application form.

However, we would require the authorized signatory’s information to be entered before the application can be submitted. 

I have submitted my application online. What's next?

You will receive an email notification once you have successfully submitted the application online.

When will my application be approved and when can I receive my StarCard?

Please allow 10 working days for processing and you may get your StarCard as quickly as within 2 weeks.

Take note that an application not supported with required documents or with incomplete information will cause a delay in processing.

Can I still edit my card details after submission?

How can I settle my bill payment?

You can settle your bill payment with Giro, Bank Transfer (PayNow, FAST) and Cheque. 

When do I need to settle the fuel payment?

With the designated credit limit approved for your StarCard account, drivers no longer need to pay cash upfront while fueling up at Caltex station. You can enjoy up to 30 days credit term and settle the monthly payment by the specified payment due date.

Any late payment charge?

An administration fee of 1% of the overdue amount will be charged on late payment.

What should I do if I lost my StarCard?

Notify StarCard Customer Support immediately via phone at 1800 333 0222 (9am-5pm, Mon-Fri, excluding Public Holidays) or email Starcard@chevron.com

What should I do if I have changed my vehicle details or no longer hold a vehicle?

If you wish to update your StarCard account information or cancel your StarCard, please contact our Caltex Hotline at 1800 333 0222 or email Starcard@chevron.com

Any expiry date for StarCard?

Your StarCard will be auto-renewed every 4 years. 

However, Chevron reserves the rights to terminate the Card without prior notice or consent of the Cardholder if the Card is inactive for 12 consecutive months or longer.
